When applying for part-time adjunct faculty, you are submitting your application to the School of Mathematics and Natural Sciences adjunct faculty pool. We will accept applications on a continuing basis. There may or may not be a hiring need at this time in your area of interest. The program coordinators access the applicant pool when there is a hiring need. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for visa sponsorship. The University will not sponsor applicants for work visas (e.g., H-1B). Job Summary The School of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the University of Southern Mississippi invites applications to establish a pool of qualified applicants for current and future part-time Adjunct Faculty appointments (online and/or face-to-face). Successful applicants may teach up to six semester credit hours (2 courses per semester) of undergraduate mathematics courses, delivered online and/or face-to-face on our Hattiesburg, Mississippi campus. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Teach assigned undergraduate courses, including:Preparing course syllabus, lectures, assignments, and other course components as necessary.
