About this position
To support the U.S. Navy Community College, the part-time Adjunct Faculty Instructor - Naval Studies will deliver high-quality online instruction for the NAV 103: Naval Force Design course, committing eight hours per week over a 10-week term while engaging with students and providing academic support in a remote setting.Key responsibilitiesDeliver engaging online instruction and facilitate discussions using the Blackboard Learning Management SystemGrade assignments and provide detailed feedback to promote student learning and successMonitor student progress and maintain regular communication while holding virtual office hoursRequired qualificationsAuthorization to work in the United States without sponsorshipRelevant military experience or experience working with military personnelExperience teaching at the collegiate level in an online learning environmentA Master's degree (Doctorate preferred) in a relevant discipline with at least 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching disciplineDemonstrated expertise in U.S. national security studies, political science, or related fields
