We operate in a values-based culture and strive towards our behaviors in everything we do. - Compensation: $32 /hr - Worksite Location: South Campus Overview / Job Summary The Adjunct Faculty, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), is responsible for providing instruction and supporting student learning within the Emergency Medical Services program. This position delivers engaging, hands-on instruction that prepares students to apply essential emergency care knowledge and skills in the field. The adjunct faculty member works closely with students and program faculty to create a positive learning environment and support student success. Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary, but are not limited to: - Submits all scholastic records by the established due date. - Evaluates students to measure their progress toward the achievement of course outcomes/competencies. - Manages and supervises students in all assigned classroom and laboratory activities to ensure a safe and effective learning environment. - Maintains industry credentials as appropriate to the teaching area. - Ensures that each program/class meets the WSU Tech Course Standard, includes all appropriate curricular components, utilizes effective teaching methods/practices (pedagogy) and reflects current field practices. - Maintains an effective learning environment regardless of instructional modality (online, hybrid, or face to face). Demonstrates lab skills in a manner consistent with lesson objectives. - Engages with the appropriate staff members (Success Coaches, Disability services etc.) to assist with student success. - Performs
