Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Adjunct Faculty instructors at College of DuPage are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings, courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as, face-to-face, on-line, hybrid and/or blended formats. In addition, adjunct faculty are responsible for student evaluation, and timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction. Required Qualifications: EducationMinimum of a bachelor's degree in the field and/or a combination of education, training and tested experience required for didactic courses. Minimum of an associate's degree in applied sciences/ dental hygiene required for lab and clinic courses. Graduated from an accredited dental hygiene program. Course work completion in educational methodologies. ExperienceExperience in teaching dental assistant or dental hygiene students. Minimum 3 years clinical dental hygiene experience. Licenses and CertificationsCurrent dental hygiene license in the State of Illinois. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR intended for healthcare providers.
