D. preferred Minimum Experience/Training: Prior college teaching experience is preferred. The successful candidate must have a high level of computer literacy and a commitment to teaching. All schedules require office hours and some may require evening and/or weekend hours. Responsibilities The successful candidate will: Demonstrate (1) a mastery of their specific discipline; (2) a deep commitment to the college mission of fostering student success, academic achievement, and persistence; (3) technological competence; and (4) the ability to use skills and strategies that engage students in ways that facilitate learning and prepare students for productive lives. Employ teaching methods to accommodate various levels of academic preparation and incorporate appropriate and engaging technology across different modalities of instruction to facilitate student learning. Facilitate the needs of different learners across programs by implementing responsive pedagogical techniques and effective practices for engaging students.
