Position Title: Adjunct Faculty - CMHC, Transpersonal Art Therapy Concentration # of Positions to Fill: 1 Department/Program: MTC Art Therapy 12070 Remote Work Authorization: 100% On-Site Campus Location: Nalanda Campus Campus Reports to: Program Chair FLSA Classification: Exempt/Salaried FTE: 45% (18 hrs/weeks) Compensation: $4500 Application Deadline: 7/1 or until filled Job Summary The Transpersonal Art Therapy department seeks Adjunct Faculty Members to teach up to three graduate-level courses during the Spring 2027 semester. Adjunct Faculty are provided established curriculum and syllabi to work with and further develop in collaboration with Core Faculty. This is a one-semester appointment with teaching assignments based on departmental needs and faculty expertise. Courses may be offered in online, low-residency, synchronous, and/or in-person formats. Logistics of this specific position - Dates and Details Courses are offered during the Spring 2027 semester. Teaching assignments may include up to three 3-credit graduate courses within the Transpersonal Art Therapy program. Course Description The Transpersonal Art Therapy program integrates creative process, contemplative practice, psychological theory, and experiential learning to support the development of ethically grounded and culturally responsive clinicians. Coursework may include topics related to art therapy such as history and theory of art therapy, practical application of transpersonal art therapy including community based art studio methods, human development, counseling skills, arts psychotherapy group process, social and multicultural awareness, art therapy assessment and research methods, ethics, and transpersonal approaches to healing.
