Primary Purpose: The Halmos College of Arts and Sciences and Guy Harvey Oceanographic Research Center (HCAS) of Nova Southeastern University (NSU) is seeking adjunct faculty to teach graduate and doctoral-level courses for NSU. Job Category: Exempt Hiring Range: Commensurate with Experience Pay Basis: Subject to Grant Funding? No Essential Job Functions: 1. Teach assigned courses professionally and in accordance with university, college, and program requirements. 2. Prepare and submit course syllabi by established deadlines. 3. Maintain regular and professional communication with students and the program supervisor. 4. Respond to student and supervisor communications within 48 hours. 5. Provide students with timely and substantive feedback on assignments, assessments, and academic progress. 6. Submit grades, progress reports, attendance information, and other required documentation accurately and by established deadlines. 7. Maintain appropriate course and student records and provide them to the program supervisor when requested.
