Description: The College of Nursing at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville seeks a dynamic and engaging Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) faculty for a part-time, adjunct position at the Clinical Assistant, Associate or Full Professor rank. Details on the College of Nursing Programs are available at https://nursing.utk.edu/ About the Position The Adjunct faculty position provides academic and clinical instructional support to the Doctor of Nursing Practice -Nurse Anesthesia program. Depending on program needs and the faculty member's expertise, responsibilities may include didactic, simulation, laboratory, clinical, or scholarly-project instruction. Assignments will be determined by the Assistant Dean of Graduate Programs in consultation with the Program Administrator/Concentration Coordinator and appropriate course director and/or clinical coordinator. The ideal candidate will demonstrate subject-matter expertise, current knowledge of nurse anesthesia practice, and the ability to facilitate student learning in an academically rigorous doctoral program. The candidate should have a strong commitment to teaching, student success, professional practice, and collaborative engagement with students, faculty, staff, and clinical partners. Duties: 1. Teaching and student support a. Conduct didactic, simulation, laboratory, and/or clinical teaching as assigned by the Assistant Dean of Graduate Programs. b. Provide academic and clinical guidance to students within the scope of the assigned course or clinical responsibilities and refer significant academic, clinical, conduct, or progression concerns to the course director and Program Administrator/Concentration Coordinator. c. Evaluate student learning and performance using established course objectives, evaluation tools, grading criteria, and program policies, and provide timely, constructive feedback. d.
