Located in Greater Boston, MassBay is a comprehensive, open-access community college, offering associate degrees and certificate programs on three campuses in Wellesley Hills, Framingham, and Ashland, Massachusetts. Position Summary: The ideal candidate will join a vibrant educational community, and have a desire and ability to serve a population of students with various needs and backgrounds. MassBay Community College is seeking qualified part-time Central Processing Technology adjunct instructors to help prepare the next generation of Central Sterile Supply professionals for a high-demand field with a critical workforce shortage. This exciting opportunity may be filled by one instructor who teaches across lectures, lab, and clinical experiences, or by two instructors who share the didactic, lab, and clinical components of the role. Instructors should bring current certification and professional expertise in Central Processing and/or Surgical Technology. The role includes engaging students in lectures and labs, supporting clinical readiness, coordinating with healthcare partners, and helping students follow college and hospital protocols. Clinical responsibilities include serving as a point of contact for students and site partners, conducting scheduled clinical visits, monitoring required documentation, and collaborating with the Surgical Services Program Director and faculty to support a strong, student-centered program.
