JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS Adjunct Associate Professor - Doctor of Public Health Program Department of Public Health Sciences, Penn State College of Medicine, Hershey, PA The Department of Public Health Sciences (PHS) at the Penn State College of Medicine invites applications for a Part-time Associate Professor position to provide leadership for the Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) program and support research activities within the department. The mission of PHS is to advance health through the design, conduct, and analysis of population-based biomedical research, the support of basic science and clinical research, the education of future generations of health professionals, and active engagement with the community to improve health and well-being. PHS comprises three academic divisions: Biostatistics and Bioinformatics, Epidemiology, and Health Services and Behavioral Research. The department offers graduate programs including the PhD in Epidemiology, PhD in Biostatistics, Doctor of Public Health (DrPH), Master of Public Health (MPH), Master of Science (MS) in Clinical Research, and Master of Professional Studies in Homeland Security with an option in Public Health Preparedness, as well as several graduate certificate programs. The successful candidate will provide leadership and oversight for the DrPH program, working collaboratively with PHS leadership, faculty, students, and education staff to support program quality, student success, and continued program development.
