Franklin and Marshall College: Chemistry Location: Lancaster, PA Description: Franklin & Marshall College invites applications for an adjunct position in the Department of Chemistry to teach general chemistry lecture or laboratory or an elective course. The course(s) will be taught in person beginning January 12, 2027, in the spring semester; the employment period extends for two weeks following the completion of the semester. This position would be an opportunity to gain perspective on teaching in the Department of Chemistry at a liberal arts college where close interactions between students and faculty are expected. This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship. The rank will be Adjunct Assistant Professor or Adjunct Instructor, depending on qualifications. Applicants should possess or be close to completing a doctorate (or terminal degree) in Chemistry. Teaching experience preferred. The salary is $7,000 per lecture course and $3,500 per laboratory course. Qualifications: Applicants should possess or be close to completing a doctorate (or terminal degree) in Chemistry.
