The successful candidate will contribute to the teaching of Vassar's General Chemistry curriculum. Job Description: A Ph. D. in Chemistry or a closely related field is preferred; however, candidates with a master's degree together with substantial college-level teaching experience may also be considered. Candidates should have demonstrated experience teaching general chemistry at the undergraduate level and a strong commitment to student learning. The successful candidate will teach three sections of Chemical Principles in Spring 2027, hold regular office hours, assess student learning, and participate in the intellectual and educational life of the department.
