You will make an impact by: • Providing professional leadership and support, and serving as an educator, role model, mentor, advisor, and facilitator. • Providing high-quality clinical instruction to students during seminars, and courses/immersive and fieldwork; assessing students' didactic and clinical competency. Your Experience Includes: • Limited teaching experience in a higher education environment is required. Generally, those who have strong research and/or clinical backgrounds but no or limited experience in teaching meet this criterion. • Clinical experience and the ability to supervise graduate-level students in a CACREP-accredited program is required. • Clinical skills to cultivate a learner-centered environment and to foster excellence. • Knowledge in technological support and delivery of program area and services. • Knowledge and evidence of strong supervisory and management skills applicable to specialized program area. • Knowledge of accreditation standards. • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite and other relevant software. • Knowledge of applicable databases and computer application systems to supply the most accurate information and report. Required Education, Certifications, and Licensures: • PhD/Ed.D. in Counselor Education from a CACREP-accredited program or a related doctoral degree. • Must maintain the Assistant Professor appointment rank by WCU Graduate Faculty Appointment & Promotion criteria. • Active Licensed Professional Counselor is required. • Must meet and maintain the qualifications an
