Interests & speaking style
I love teaching! I enjoy teaching because it gives me the opportunity to share not only scientific knowledge, but also the curiosity and critical thinking that drive scientific discovery. Having worked across academia and the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors, I particularly enjoy connecting fundamental biology to real-world research, drug discovery, and human health. Teaching also benefits me personally: interacting with students challenges me to communicate complex ideas clearly, consider new perspectives, and stay intellectually engaged. I find it especially rewarding when students move beyond memorizing concepts and begin to think like scientists.
