Guest lecture topics
My lecturing interests span several interconnected fields, including Intelligence and Security Studies, European Union Law, International Law, Labour Law, Legal Philosophy, Criminology, Public Administration, and Organizational Studies. I am particularly interested in intelligence analysis, OSINT methodologies, strategic forecasting, civil-military cooperation, artificial intelligence in intelligence and legal decision-making, cognitive biases, bounded rationality, and the epistemological challenges posed by emerging technologies. Further areas include security governance, institutional decision-making, organizational behaviour, criminal profiling, and the relationship between law, technology, and human cognition.
Teaching experience
My teaching and educational experience combines professional training, academic programme development, and scientific and institutional responsibilities. I am the founder and President of Centro Studi UniOriente, an organization engaged in higher education services, cultural initiatives, research, and educational activities. I currently serve as a member of the Scientific and Technical Committee of Aussesia and as Director of the course "Education for Citizenship and the Culture of Work." Internationally, I served as Education Officer of IAFIE Europe during 2024–2025 and currently hold the position of Treasurer for the 2026–2027 term. These responsibilities have provided experience in educational coordination, professional networking, and international academic initiatives. My background also includes specialist training activities for Police personnel, particularly in operational techniques and professional security-related subjects, including experience as a Police Operative Tactics Instructor. Alongside these activities, I conduct independent interdisciplinary research and have developed scientific contributions addressing intelligence analysis, artificial intelligence, legal theory, and decision-making processes.
Interests & speaking style
My lecturing style is analytical, interdisciplinary, and discussion-oriented. Rather than limiting teaching to the transmission of established concepts, I seek to connect theoretical frameworks with real-world cases, institutional practices, and emerging challenges. Drawing on my legal education, public-sector experience, intelligence-related activities, and research interests, I favour lectures that combine conceptual depth with practical applications, critical discussion, and methodological reflection. I am particularly interested in exploring the boundaries between disciplines, especially where law, intelligence, psychology, and technology intersect. My aim is to stimulate curiosity, constructive debate, and rigorous reasoning while making even complex subjects accessible to students from different academic backgrounds.
