Senior Design reviewer and industry mentor, Benedictine College School of Engineering, 2025–present. Work with undergraduate engineering teams on design reviews, project planning, machine design, engineering drawings, manufacturing, safety and professional engineering practice. Throughout a 40+ year engineering career, have trained and mentored engineers, engineering managers and multidisciplinary project teams in machine design, automation, manufacturing, project execution, design reviews and engineering leadership. Former Director of Engineering, Chief Engineer, Engineering Manager and Business Unit Manager.

I enjoy helping engineering students understand how engineering is actually practiced after graduation. My style is practical, conversational and case-based. I use real engineering problems, design decisions, project successes and failures to connect classroom principles with professional practice. I particularly enjoy discussing the judgment required to turn a good technical idea into a safe, manufacturable and successful engineering solution.
