Guest lecture topics
With my background in general education, special education, elementary STEM, educational technology, and curriculum development, I would be interested in lecturing on a variety of college-level education topics, including Foundations of Education, Introduction to Special Education, Inclusive Classrooms, Differentiated Instruction, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), Classroom Management, Lesson Planning and Assessment, Elementary Teaching Methods, Educational Technology Integration, Computer Science Education, Coding and Robotics, STEM Education, Inquiry-Based Science Instruction, Project-Based Learning, Digital Literacy, Instructional Strategies for Grades K–6, and International and Comparative Education. I am particularly interested in courses that prepare future educators to create engaging, inclusive, and technology-rich learning environments.
Teaching experience
I have diverse teaching experience in both the United States and abroad, including a year teaching English to students in grades 3–6 in Spain, where I gained valuable experience working in an international educational setting. In the United States, I have taught in both general education and special education classrooms, developing skills in differentiated instruction, classroom management, lesson planning, and supporting students with diverse learning needs. I currently teach STEM and technology, where I develop and implement curriculum, lead hands-on engineering and science activities, and teach coding and robotics to elementary and upper-elementary students. My experience across grade levels, educational settings, and countries has strengthened my ability to adapt instruction, engage diverse learners, and connect educational theory to practical classroom applications. I look forward to bringing these real-world experiences into college-level instruction to help prepare future educators for successful careers in teaching.
Interests & speaking style
My primary interest in higher education is helping prepare the next generation of educators by sharing practical classroom experiences, innovative teaching strategies, and effective instructional approaches. I am particularly passionate about inclusive education, STEM learning, educational technology, differentiated instruction, and creating engaging learning environments that meet the needs of all students. My lecturing style is interactive, collaborative, and application-based. I believe students learn best when they can connect educational theories to real-world classroom experiences. I enjoy incorporating hands-on activities, meaningful discussions, practical examples, technology, and problem-solving into instruction. Having taught in both the United States and Spain, I also value bringing diverse educational perspectives into the classroom. My goal is to create an engaging and supportive learning environment where future educators feel confident, inspired, and prepared to make a positive impact on their students.
