Interests & speaking style

I am passionate about learning, development, and helping others build their knowledge and confidence. I hold a BA (Hons) in Public Services (2:1 Upper Division) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Crisis Management, and I have spent the last four years designing and delivering training to a range of audiences. My lecturing style is engaging, interactive, and learner-centred. I believe the most effective learning takes place when theory is connected to real-world experience, so I encourage discussion, critical thinking, and practical application of key concepts. Drawing on my professional background in public services, training, mediation, and conflict resolution, I aim to create an inclusive and supportive environment where learners feel comfortable contributing and asking questions. I am keen to expand my experience within higher education as I work towards a longer-term career in teaching and lecturing. Guest lecturing would provide an exciting opportunity to share both my academic knowledge and practical experience while supporting students in their learning and professional development.
