Teaching and professional development have been recurring responsibilities throughout my career as a business founder, corporate leader, manager, and advisor. At Procter & Gamble, I worked with the Technical Engineering School and helped instruct rising engineers. I also developed and delivered training for employees on artificial intelligence, presentation development, business pitches, communication, product management, and the practical application of emerging technologies. Earlier in my career, I served as a sales training manager and was responsible for helping sales professionals understand complex products, communicate their value, and apply effective sales practices. At Reynolds and Reynolds, I trained sales teams to position and sell the digital marketing products and business solutions I had helped create. As a nine-time founder and longtime manager, I have also taught and coached employees, salespeople, emerging leaders, and business professionals throughout my career. My approach emphasizes practical application, real-world examples, critical thinking, and helping participants understand not only what to do, but why it works.

My primary interest in lecturing is to give back by sharing the lessons, experiences, and perspectives I have gained throughout my career. I hope to help students and emerging professionals get off to a stronger start, think more openly about the challenges they will face, and avoid some of the mistakes that experience often teaches only after the fact. My lecturing style is practical, experience-driven, and highly focused on independent thinking. I use real examples, stories, questions, and discussion to help participants examine assumptions and consider problems from different perspectives. My goal is not to hand people a set of answers. It is to give them better questions, useful thought processes, and practical ways to evaluate situations so they can develop sound answers and solutions for themselves rather than simply accepting what others tell them.
