About this position

Job ID: 374774 About the Job The Noncredit Instructor is a temporary (per course), part-time, non-tenured position for our Professional Development and Lifelong Learning Programs. The Program Management Teaching Specialist will be responsible for developing and teaching one or more of the following course topics: Data and Evaluation for Program Management, Program Leadership, Financial Stewardship and Resource Management, Program Strategy and Change Management. The Noncredit Instructor will collaborate with an instructional designer and program manager to develop 6-week non-credit course(s) during the first approximately six months of the position. After developing the course, the Noncredit Instructor will teach the course using the developed curriculum. The course is fully online and uses a blend of synchronous and asynchronous instructional methods. Live instruction is done through a weekly Zoom session. Asynchronous instruction is done through the university's learning management system, Canvas. Each course will last 6 weeks. During the instructional phase of this position, the Noncredit Instructor is expected to be engaged and available for a total of 10 weeks, including the 3 weeks prior to the course start date and 3 weeks after the course end date. Compensation is paid on a per course basis. For development, the Noncredit Instructor will be paid $5,400. For instruction, the Noncredit Instructor will be paid $2,713.
