About this position
The School of Popular Music & Voice wishes to appointPart Time Lecturers across the BA Voice and BA Popular Music, to deliver voice teaching and assessing, and undertake any other work associated with relevant modules. We are looking for Vocal Practitioners who can deliver 1-1 vocal tuition to a high standard, with excellent technical knowledge, performance experience and artistic insight. We are looking for individuals with a range of different backgrounds and experience of different genres, but we particularly welcome applications from voice professionals with expertise in Popular Music and/or Musical Theatre repertoire. The teaching term follows the Conservatoire’s Undergraduate Music Academic Calendar. Note that other duties may fall outside of the term time weeks. The start date for the teaching will be w/c 21st September 2026, but with planning and preparation happening prior to this week. Please note that the total number of working hours for appointed staff depends on the individual applicants music and repertoire specialism(s) and on student enrolment.
