Job Description: Berklee College of Music invites applications for a part-time faculty position in the Electronic Production and Design Department. The Department seeks a virtuosic electronic music performer with a recognized professional profile as a performing and recording artist and innovator to teach within Berklee's Electronic Digital Instrument (EDI) principal instrument program and major. The successful candidate will have experience working as a solo act or a performer with international touring acts, a proven ability to help students achieve a significant level of musicianship virtuosity, and will contribute a shared vision for establishing a forward-thinking pedagogy for electronic music players. This is a part-time faculty position to teach throughout the academic year with a renewable contract, initial appointment to begin September 2026. Compensation is commensurate with professional experience. Primary responsibilities will include: teaching private lessons and performance study labs directing ensembles with electronic and mixed instrumentation student assessment and advising Experience and Qualification The ideal candidate will be an established electronic musician/performer with significant experience playing in a variety of environments, including clubs, concerts, and festivals and working collaboratively with major artists. In addition, the successful candidate will have strengths in the following areas: Have an established artist profile as a performing electronic musician with significant international performance experience, playing on stage with major artists Be a virtuosic player on a least one controller with a working knowledge of multiple controllers Versatility in a variety of performance settings Have a meaningful discography of recordings released and well received by the greater electronic music community Expertise in music direction and conducting, with a strong ability to lead ensembles In-depth understanding of a variety of musical
