Position Summary & Description The Music Department at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) invites applicants for anticipated part-time, temporary faculty position(s) for the Fall 2026 semester. The department seeks candidates whose teaching, research, and/or service have prepared them to serve all IUP students. Teaching: Successful candidates must be able to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses offered in person, online or through distance education, or at one of our other locations. Courses may include:MUSI 129, University Symphony Orchestra MUSI 111 - Ear Training IIntroduces skills musicians need to discern, recall, translate, and reproduce musical events. Explores treble and bass clef, rhythm in common meters, diatonic melody, and chord quality. Involves basic improvisation and keyboard harmony.
