After six months of employment, employees may have the opportunity to apply for a hybrid work schedule. Academic positions (Faculty) require on-campus presence, even if the role involves teaching online classes, in accordance with state law. Position Summary Provides instruction for non-credit courses within the 911 Dispatcher Program. The adjunct must hold current TCOLE (Texas Commission on Law Enforcement) Basic Instructor License and have relevant industry experience. Required Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesCurrent TCOLE Basic Instructor License (mandatory). Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively with students and staff in a teaching environment. Demonstrated success in training or mentoring within emergency communications or law enforcement. Ability to provide quality customer service and maintain professionalism. Physical Requirements Normal physical job functions performed within a standard office environment. Minimum Knowledge and ExperienceAssociate degree or higher AND three years. Must hold TCOLE Basic Instructor License. Official transcripts required at time of interview.
