Requirements

• Must meet one (1) of the following qualifications under (a) through (c):
• (a) Master’s in African American Studies, Black Studies, Africana Studies, Latino Studies, La Raza Studies, Chicana/o Studies, Asian American Studies, Native American Studies, or American Indian Studies
• (c) A combination of education and experience that is at least the equivalent of (a) or (b) above
• Applicants submitting an application on the basis of equivalency must thoroughly and completely answer all of the equivalency questions, in addition to providing all other required materials
• All applicants must have demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty, and staff
