The University of Virginia Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, and UVA Health Children's invite applications for an open rank, clinical faculty position. The division cares for patients with all types of blood disorders and malignancies, including hematologic malignancies, sarcomas and embryonal tumors, central nervous system malignancies, non-malignant disorders of a hematopoietic/immune/inflammatory nature, and similarly providing cutting edge cellular and immune therapies. We all share care for both hematologic and oncologic patients, but each faculty member is encouraged to cultivate an area of clinical expertise and clinical research interest. We welcome all but special consideration may be given to those interested in central nervous system tumors, solid tumors or benign hematology as these are areas of potential need or growth.
