Job ID: 375362 About the Job The University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy offers a professional program culminating in the Doctor of Pharmacy degree. The program is delivered on the Duluth and Twin Cities Campuses. This Lecturer position is located on the Duluth campus of the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy. The individual serves as an in-person instructor for the Pharmaceutical Care Skills Lab course sequence in Duluth during both Fall and Spring semesters, with some remote course work responsibilities as well. This position is a casual appointment with an expectation of 8-10 hours/week. Hours will be submitted for pay. Temporary 1 year position. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Teaching (90%) Serve as a Co-course lead and/or instructor for first year Professional skill development courses in Pharmaceutical Care Learning Center (PCLC) course sequence. This lab course sequence is responsible for teaching skills in extemporaneous compounding, sterile compounding, and clinical skills. These responsibilities include, but may not be limited to: Preparation for and delivery of coursesImplement previously set syllabi, schedule, grading policy, and other course materials in coordination with other PCLC instructors on both TC and Duluth campuses and in accordance with PCLC course standards, mission, and vision Work closely with and regularly communicate with PCLC instructors for courses assigned Collaborate with other College of Pharmacy instructors to develop and lead sessions as scheduled for the course(s), integrating with other courses Review, update, and implement previously developed course activities (including managing the course website) and teaching assistant (TA) guides in coordination with other instructors Work with, coordinate, and assist with training for MSimulation events with simulated patients Manage assessment rubrics for course activities in an electronic system in coordination with other instructors Work with appropriate facu
