JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY The Health Professions division is seeking a positive, supportive, and dynamic C.N.A. Instructor to teach a diverse community of learners. Preference will be given to candidates who are committed to student success, equity, inclusion and the use of the classroom experiences to enhance workplace understanding and performance. Responsible for teaching credit C.N.A. courses within our Health Professions Division. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Associate's degree in Nursing or Diploma (if before 1970). Current NE active unrestricted license as an RN required. One year teaching Certified Nurse Aid courses OR One year supervising Certified Nurse Aides AND One year clinical nursing experience, for a total of 2 years full-time related occupational experience required. Current CPR certification and compliance with recommended immunizations and drug testing for clinical participation required. OR Bachelor's degree in Nursing, current NE active unrestricted license as an RN required. One year teaching Certified Nurse Aide courses OR One year supervising Certified Nurse Aides. Compensation: $580 per Equivalent Credit Hours (ECH)May include day, evening and/or weekend classes and will involve travel to other campuses. A teaching demonstration is required as part of the interview process. Hiring process includes passing a background check.
