Description Job Summary: The Department of Psychology invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor in Psychology. Candidates must hold a master's degree or higher in psychology or in a closely related field from an accredited institution. Successful candidates may teach undergraduate or graduate psychology courses including: PSY 1000 Intro to Psychology, PSY 1101 Cognition and Behavior, PSY 2200 Research Methods. Successful candidates will plan and supervise semester activities that meet course objectives, maintain records on and evaluate student performance, and assign grades, as well as attend regular faculty meetings. Compensation:$1,050 per credit - Masters candidates $1,150 per credit - Doctorate candidates Location: This position will be based out of our downtown Honolulu campuses (Waterfront Plaza or Aloha Tower Marketplace) Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:Master's degree or higher in psychology or in a closely related area from an accredited institution. Able to teach classes, on Oahu, scheduled during days, evenings, and weekends. Desired Qualifications:Doctoral degree in Psychology or related field.
