Title Adjunct Professor, Ceramics Direct Supervisor School of Design + Art Director Status Part Time, Exempt Division Academic Affairs No. Direct Reports 0 Target Weekly Hours 10 Location Main Campus Benefits Eligibility No JOB SUMMARY The School of Design + Art in the College of Business, Innovation, Leadership, and Technology (BILT) at Marymount University invites applications from persons qualified to teach undergraduate Ceramics for hand building and wheel throwing techniques beginning in the fall 2026 semester. Projects in both courses revolve around traditional vessel construction, and faculty will provide supplementary information regarding contemporary artists, ceramic materials, glazing, and the firing process. Adjunct faculty will be expected to aid in organizing student work for bisque and glaze firings in a computerized electric kiln, and manage other small tasks associated with studio maintenance.
