About the Role: The Adjunct of Theatre plays a vital role in delivering high-quality theatre education to students at the collegiate level. This position is responsible for designing and teaching courses that cover various aspects of theatre. The Adjunct will contribute to the academic mission by preparing students for careers in theatre and related fields, while also supporting departmental productions and events. Minimum Qualifications:Master's degree or extensive pratical experience in Theatre, Performing Arts, or a closely related field. Demonstrated experience in teaching theatre at the post-secondary level or equivalent professional experience. Strong knowledge of theatre theory, history, and practical applications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse student populations. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines in a dynamic academic environment. Preferred Qualifications:Experience directing or producing theatre productions in an academic or professional setting. Familiarity with digital tools and technologies used in theatre education and production. Background in multiple theatre disciplines such as acting, design, or technical theatre. Previous experience working with diverse and inclusive student communities. Professional affiliations or active participation in theatre organizations.
