Job Purpose: The Digital Scholarship Lab (DSL) in Foley Center Library is seeking a part-time lab-based Adjunct Faculty to support the research of faculty and students in the DSL as well as instruct the students who staff the lab throughout its available hours. This position reports to the Digital Scholarship & Publishing Librarian and collaborates with faculty and staff from other departments/schools to develop quality outreach and programming for the campus on all the tools and software supported in the DSL. The adjunct lab coordinator partners with library for maintenance of equipment, supplies, and the physical space of the lab in order to support the growth of instruction and scholarship occurring there. This adjunct role is focused on developing the point-of-need instruction and planned programming that supports students and faculty utilizing this new space for their research and scholarship. Additionally, this adjunct role will serve as a direct mentor and trainer to a group of 6+ student employees who regularly staff the space. This is a fixed-term position. This position is scheduled up to 20 hours/week and is not benefits eligible.
