Location: Big Rapids (Main Campus) Department: 34504 - Hospitality Management Advertised Salary: Minimum of $1353 per credit hour, if advanced degree held in primary academic discipline, the minimum rate increases to $1,458 per credit hour. Salary commensurate with qualifications pursuant to the FNTFO/AFT Agreement Benefits Comprehensive benefit package (health care, vacation, etc.). Adjunct Faculty FLSA: Exempt Temporary/Continuing: Temporary Part-Time/Full-Time: Part-Time Union Group: Ferris Nontenure-Track Faculty Organization (FNTFO) (AFT) Term of Position: As Needed At Will/Just Cause: Just Cause Summary of Position The College of Business at Ferris State University seeks a diverse group of outstanding applicants to teach undergraduate courses in the Hospitality Management program face-to-face and/or mixed delivery. The College of Business is dedicated to providing a learning experience that instills in its students the knowledge, competencies, and skills for entry-level employment and career advancement in their chosen careers. To facilitate this, faculty are expected to be student-oriented and able to integrate current technology into the learning environment. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State's sites. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan by the first day of employment and will perform duties at a Ferris site. The anticipated start date of this position is August 2026. The selected candidate for this position must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire without employer assistance or sponsorship now or in the future.
