Adjunct Faculty - Music POSITION: Adjunct Faculty - Music: Performing Arts & Communication Department; Liberal Arts Division; Haverhill campus, Haverhill (100 Elliott Street) or Lawrence campuses (45 Franklin Street); MCCC/MTA DCE Unit Position SUMMARY: We are seeking instructors for our pool of Adjunct Faculty to teach various Music courses on an as-needed basis for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters. Successful applicants would be assigned to teach credit-bearing courses in various Music classes, including applied or ensemble. Classes are held on NECC's Haverhill campus. Seeking instructors for primarily day face-to-face classes. Future possibility of online or hybrid instruction exists and would require successful completion of mandatory training. Adjunct faculty will play a critical role in the teaching and learning process, contributing to student success. A list of potential courses can be found online in the Course Catalog. Course Descriptions for Music composition courses are available on the NECC website. Adjunct Faculty will engage in a critical role in the teaching and learning process, contributing to student success. Please note: Positions will be available pending sufficient enrollment. REPORTS TO: Dean of Liberal Arts RESPONSIBILITIES:Teach assigned courses according to Academic Catalog description and established departmental student learning outcomes. Adhere to all NECC policies and MCCC contract requirements, including policies regarding grading, deadlines, evaluation process, syllabus requirements, materials posted on the LMS, and required meetings. Job Requirements: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Master's degree in music or related field Experience teaching in a related discipline at the college level PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:College teaching experience.
