About this position
The Department of Mathematics at Hastings College welcomes applications for adjunct instructor(s) to teach Statistics courses (in person delivery or remote delivery). Courses with dates and times are listed below for the 2026-2027 academic year. The successful candidate will hold a Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field with at least 18 graduate credits in Mathematics. Candidates with a portfolio of relevant teaching experience will also be considered. The candidate will be responsible for utilizing our online learning software, CANVAS, to facilitate delivery and assessment of course material. Application Requirements Qualified candidates need to complete the online application and download into the profile section of the online application; a cover letter, teaching philosophy statement, curriculum vitae (CV) which includes all courses taught and the delivery methods used as well as indicated technology skills. A complete application will include unofficial undergraduate and graduate transcripts. Application review will begin immediately and continue until the position has been filled. Anticipated Start Date: August 2026 SCHEDULE Hastings College operates on 8-week blocks within a 2 semester system.
