## Join Our Team as an Adjunct Faculty Member in Legal Studies Are you looking for a rewarding career where you can change lives? Strayer University is seeking a dynamic Adjunct Faculty member to join our academics team. We are currently in search of a passionate professor for an undergraduate/graduate level LEG class for the upcoming Fall quarter, starting October 5, 2026 in a hybrid format. ### What This Role Involves The hybrid format means you'll teach the course in both in-person and online modalities. This role requires 11 in-person meeting sessions for 2 hours every week, held at a predetermined scheduled time (day/evening) at a specific Strayer University Campus located at 9101 Kings Parade Boulevard, Suite 200, Charlotte, North Carolina 28273. The balance of the course is instructed asynchronously online. You'll also maintain office hours as assigned. As a Strayer Adjunct Faculty member, you're not just an instructor; you're also a coach and mentor. Our faculty members strive to ignite a life-long love of learning in our students and to be flexible with their diverse learning styles. We believe in a strong faculty-student relationship and building a community in the classroom. ### Your Key Duties - Teach courses as assigned from a pre-designed curriculum and utilize your professional expertise to provide high-quality instruction. - Enhance the strength and effectiveness of the curriculum using technology and videos. - Arrive on-campus at least half an hour prior to the start time of in-person sessions per week during the academic quarter. - Utilize the online learning platform to enrich the student learning experience for the online component of the course. - Be available to students via email, phone, text, and office hours to ensure they receive quality feedback in a timely manner to support their academic success. - Establish high standards and ensure students understand how they will be evaluated. - Adhere to University policies and procedure

Requirements

  • Job Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of academic technology
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) software and overall computer skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of academic evaluation
  • Proficiency in oral presentation skills, planning, and organizing of course objectives
  • Must have strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Excellent oral and written communication skills
