Duties and Responsibilities: Teach coursework as assigned in the UNH Department of Anthropology Desired Qualifications:Previous undergraduate teaching experience as sole or primary instructor is highly preferred Masters degree in Anthropology with focus in medical and or cultural anthropology required, PhD or advanced candidacy in Anthropology in these areas preferred Courses to be taught: ANTH 411 Introduction to Cultural Anthropology: Global Perspectives on the Human Condition??Responsibility: teach one introduction to cultural anthropology course; lecture-based instruction and examination with some assigned activities (85 students); some non-grading support of student course assistant; hold at least one (1) hour of student office hours per week. ??Course scheduled Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:10-10:00 ANTH 440A Medicine and Culture: Science, Technology and the BodyResponsibility: teach one introductory medical anthropology course oriented in social studies of science and technology; lecture-based instruction and examination with some assigned activities (35 students); hold at least one (1) hour of student office hours per week.
