Job Type: Part time Job Number: JR101660 Location: No Office Location The Opportunity Lesley University's Department of Counseling and Psychology is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach GCOUN 6026: Developmental Psychology Across the Lifespan; Fall Semester 2026; Wednesdays 4:00 - 6:30 pm (In Person, On Campus). Course Description: This course is designed to explore theory and research on cognitive, affective, moral, and social development from a cross-cultural perspective. Implications for understanding human behavior across the lifespan are addressed. Prerequisites: Degree candidates in Counseling Psychology or permission of the Division of Counseling and Psychology, Associate Director of Advising and Student Services. Qualities & Capabilities A successful candidate will have:Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field (required); PhD or terminal degree (preferred) Licensure in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or a related field Demonstrated successful teaching experience in the discipline at the graduate level A commitment to integrating social justice practices into the curriculum Why Lesley Located in the heart of Cambridge, Massachusetts, Lesley University is highly regarded for its graduate and undergraduate programs in the human arts of education, the arts, and applied social sciences.
