Job Description Summary This role is responsible for teaching the following course: FINE 230: Sculpture & Expanded Media. Job Description FINE 230: Sculpture & Expanded Media. An introduction to the fundamental tools, materials, techniques, concepts, and safety procedures of sculpture and related media. Through hands-on exploration of materials, students will develop skills in both traditional and contemporary sculptural methods. We will cover a variety of processes while learning essential safety protocols for working in a studio environment. Historical and contemporary sculptural practices will be examined through lectures and demonstrations. Education and Experience Education and Experience Minimum Qualifications: A master's degree that demonstrates expertise appropriate for teaching a course/s listed in this announcement OR a 4-year professional degree (BFA) in art or design and equivalent expertise, training and experience, with an appropriate record of professional creative achievement. Professional portfolio demonstrating skills and experience in the curricular area. Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills. Preferred Qualifications:MFA degree or its equivalent in an appropriate discipline. College level teaching experience. Significant professional creative practice.
