Position Title: Adjunct Faculty- English Instructor Campus: East Peoria Campus Employment Type: Adjunct Faculty, FacultyPart time Department: Humanities (JM - Faculty) Start Date: 10/12/2026 Job Description: Summary Illinois Central College is seeking a qualified individual to provide innovative instruction in English composition. Adjunct Faculty are primarily responsible for instructing assigned courses meeting classroom standards. The Adjunct Faculty must follow institutional syllabi. Additionally, Adjunct Faculty are required to maintain office hours to best ensure student success. Adjunct Faculty teach on a part-time basis up to 12 contact hours per semester. We currently have an urgent need for adjuncts to cover the following eight-week classes in-person: - ENGL 110 Thursdays 5:30pm to 8:20pm (in-person only) - ENGL 110 Mondays & Wednesdays 10:00am - 11:15am (in-person only) For information on compensation please click the link below.
