I am staffing for IN PERSON communication faculty for High School cohorts in Baltimore county public schools for fall 2026! Candidates will need M-F daytime availability and a master's degree is a human communication studies or related field. CMNS101: Fundamentals of Human Communication introduces the study of human communication. Students develop an understanding of the theoretical principles of verbal and nonverbal interaction by analyzing and applying these principles in a variety of communication contexts. Areas of study include intrapersonal, interpersonal, cross-cultural, small group, and public speaking. Communication Studies adjunct faculty are needed to teach morning and afternoon classes for the Community College of Baltimore County at external locations, such as at local-area high schools or other local, higher-ed institutions. Adjunct faculty are selected based on program needs and subject matter expertise of the applicant. Please note that our greatest need for staffing classes is generally Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm. Many classes will require instructors to be available five days per week. There is limited availability of staffing options beyond these times, but we stress that these needs are very limited. • Candidates will need M-F daytime availability and a master's degree is a human communication studies or related field
• Master’s degree or higher in Human Communication, Communication Studies or related field;
• Higher Education and/or preK-12 teaching experience;
• Competence and experience in relevant academic field;
• Proficient computer skills and Microsoft suite of applications knowledge;
