Compensation Range H02 Hourly Rate Varies by Program and Contract FLSA United States of America (Exempt) Work LocationAll positions are considered on-site roles. After six months of employment, some positions may be eligible to apply for a hybrid work arrangement based on job responsibilities, operational needs, supervisor approval, and Dallas College policy. Academic (Faculty) positions require an on-campus presence, even when teaching online courses, in accordance with state law. Position Type Faculty 1) All positions are considered on-site roles; 2) After six months of employment, employees may have the opportunity to apply for a hybrid work schedule; 3) Academic positions (Faculty) require on-campus presence, even if the role involves teaching online classes, in accordance with state law. Position Summary Teaches students effectively in assigned classes and maintains office hours for student consultation. Required Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesExcellent oral and written communication skills to interact with students. Demonstrated skills in successfully working with diverse populations through experiences such as formal training and past work experiences. The ability to provide quality customer service. Physical Requirements May be required to lift and move materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Minimum QualificationsFor credit classes transferable towards a higher degree: Master's degree or higher and at least 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline for credit courses. For workforce education degree or certificate courses: a combination of academic preparation and work experience, including three (3) years of direct or related work experience other than teaching.
