Position Description Summary/Purpose: The Department of Nursing at Goodwin University is seeking an MSN-prepared individual to serve as a medical/surgical adjunct clinical instructor in our undergraduate nursing programs. This is an adjunct position; (1 or more) 9.5-hour (plus up to 3 hours of prep/paperwork), weekend (day or evening) adult medical/surgical clinical. You would be responsible for supervising students during their assignments in the clinical (and lab/simulation on campus) setting and evaluating students' written clinical packet and other assignments. Facilitate the clinical experience across the curriculum Review and provide weekly feedback to students on clinical packets and other assignments as appropriate. Complete a midterm and final evaluation for each student per clinical rotation. Assist with the clinical experience in the nursing skills and simulation laboratory. Support students and lab faculty as needed in the laboratory environment. Collaborate with faculty to provide consistent and relevant student learning experiences to meet the course and clinical learning outcomes.
